Lecturer in Construction

Salary £32,267 to £44,607 per annum (dependent upon role, skills and experience)

We are seeking an enthusiastic research-led individual who will make a significant contribution to undergraduate and postgraduate teaching. Initially teaching will be in the related areas of construction technology and materials, or construction project management, whole life costing and lean construction. The ability to teach in one of the following areas would be advantageous; sustainable building, supply chain management, strategic procurement, logistics, facilities and asset management, building services.

You will be expected and encouraged to develop research programmes complementary to the School’s existing work in this area, which currently include,: the use of whole life costing, building sustainability, and strategic procurement.

A PhD in a related subject is essential, along with experience of publishing research outcomes. The ability to secure external research funding is also required.  Relevant industrial experience would be advantageous.
