Working in an environment where equality, diversity, and inclusion are taken seriously, you will create, implement, and review cultural change exercises and initiatives across the entire University. You’ll have the chance to raise your profile as you provide expert advice at all levels. With a focus on impact, you will take charge of a number of equality and diversity schemes as well as developing policy, quantitative reports, and web pages.

The Person

Committed to creating an inclusive environment in which staff, students, and the University can thrive, you will have a proven track record of developing creative solutions and delivering continuous improvement in an equalities connected role. You’ll also have strong numeracy, writing, presentation, and IT skills with the imagination to deliver positive outcomes and a degree level education. Knowledge of equality legislation and its implications for higher education, diversity in the curriculum, or cultural change management will be vital. Above all, you’ll need to be equally confident working at an operational level on schemes or at a strategic level on policy

The Faculty / Department

Kingston’s ability to inspire and educate its students and to conduct cutting-edge research depends on having the right balance of staff, with appropriate skills and experience. Responsible for recruiting and developing our staff, and ensuring that they remain motivated, the work of Human Resources is central to the University’s ongoing success.
