The School of Architecture, Computing and Engineering is seeking a part-time Professor of Computing to strengthen our portfolio in Software Engineering with particular emphasis on Software Evolution.
You will make a substantial contribution to the School’s submission to REF 2014 (UoA 11) and will actively provide leadership within the School to further develop and strengthen our research infrastructure, working with a proactive research team to enhance the School's increasing national and international profile.
You will have a proven track record of internationally renowned research, PhD supervisions to successful completion and international peer esteem and be experienced in initiating, conducting and disseminating high-quality research and publications in the field of Software Evolution, with evidence of generating significant income to support research. Industrial experience in developing relevant practical tools for software evolution would be an advantage.
