The Human Resources Group provides excellent services in respect of Personnel, Payroll, Staff Development and Occupational Health.
You will provide overall leadership for the payroll and pensions functions ensuring accurate and timely payments and returns in accordance with relevant legislation and regulations. You will also maintain the provision of an efficient and effective, customer focussed service, continually reviewing processes and procedures to ensure they are fit for purpose. You will support the Head of Reward and Information Systems in respect of the strategic development of information systems and the provision of data to internal and external stakeholders.
You will have experience of leading teams with a successful track record of managing change, highly developed interpersonal and communications skills, demonstrable expert knowledge of PAYE regulations and at least one public sector pension scheme. You will be numerate and IT literate having the ability to analyse and report on HR and Payroll data using Microsoft Office products.
A payroll qualification, evidence of relevant PAYE training or equivalent experience is essential for this role.
