Working with the Senior Project Managers and Senior Programme Manager within the Capital Projects Team, the Assistant Project Manager will personally manage estate improvement projects valued from £250k - £5m) whilst working with Senior Project Managers and across the Capital Projects Team to support on the delivery of large scale multi-million development schemes. You will work within a high calibre projects team responsible for delivering approaching £100m of investment every year across a diverse estate portfolio including research and teaching facilities, student residences and office accommodation.
The successful candidate will have gained experience of working on large scale refurbishment and/or new build construction projects in an Assistant Project Manager role, with experience in a lead project management on smaller scale projects. You will have excellent organisational and IT skills, with experience of undertaking administrative duties associated with project management.
It is essential that the successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, with the maturity, enthusiasm and motivation to develop a career in project management. It is anticipated that you will hold a relevant degree and/or professional qualification.
