Reporting to the Director of Projects, the Senior Project Manager will develop, procure, manage and deliver a broad range of estate improvement projects £250k - £5m) and development schemes (£5m - £30m+) across a diverse estate portfolio including research and teaching facilities, student residences and office accommodation. Projects are varied and will include but are not limited to new build, refurbishment, adaptation and fit-out. You will work within a high calibre projects team responsible for delivering approaching £100m of investment every year.

The successful candidate will possess relevant experience in a project leadership role with responsibility for procuring and managing complex capital projects to £30m in value in or with a large scale organisation with a technically complex estate portfolio. You will have strong commercial management skills, with the proven track record of managing large scale project budgets and excellent contract procurement and supply chain management abilities.

You will have excellent interpersonal skills, with the credibility and authority to lead and manage stakeholder groups and project teams. It is anticipated that you will hold a relevant professional qualification.
