This is an exciting support opportunity within a very successful research team of International standing with a reputation for high quality epidemiological research in the area of Forensic Psychiatry. The successful candidate will come into work every day knowing they are making a really positive contribution to a team influencing policy and research within this are.
You will be employed by the very research focused and successful East London NHS Foundation Trust and hold an honorary contract with Queen Mary, University of London as the position involves working with colleagues from both institutions. You will work under the supervision of the Office Manager, providing support for the research team through secretarial support such typing and formatting documents, researching grant application processes, keeping unit records, minute taking, meeting servicing and any other support tasks requested by the team.
You will have extensive secretarial experience with a background in supporting an academic research team. A knowledge of forensic psychiatry is an advantage, but less important than the core skills required to do the job. If invited to interview, you will undertake tests on your typing and document formatting abilities.
