Fixed Term Contract for 3 Years

As a postdoctoral Research Fellow you will work with Professors from the Warwick Statistics Department and Warwick Manufacturing Group on the EPSRC funded project "Inside-out: Statistical Methods for Computed Tomography validation of complex structures in Additive Layer Manufacturing". This interdisciplinary project will investigate the development of quality assurance processes based on Computed Tomography data, using statistical techniques including false discovery rate methods, random fields, and ideas from stochastic geometry.

You will hold or be near completion of a PhD, or equivalent, in statistics or a closely related discipline. Experience of industrial statistics would be very advantageous. You will have demonstrated potential for excellence in applied statistics research and an emerging track record of publication in high quality, peer reviewed journals.
