Salary Range: This appointment will be made on the Health Services Executive (HSE) Pay scales for Chief Pharmacist II salary scale at a point in line with current Government pay policy

The postholder will be responsible for the pharmacy support of clinical trials conducted in the Clinical Research Facility, This will include training of staff in the clinical trials being conducted. Initially the post holder will be responsible for establishing the dispensary function within the CRF. Thereafter, the post holder will also be involved in the start-up and operation of the CRF’s Aseptic Compounding Unit.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the Pharmacy activities of the CRF meet standards of Good Manufacturing Practice and Good Clinical Trial Practice (GCP), and will work closely with the Associate Director and Assistant Director of Nursing and Quality and Regulatory Affairs Manager
