The US-UK Fulbright Commission is now accepting applications for its 2017-18 Master of International Law Award at The Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University.
The Fulbright Postgraduate Student Award at the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University will be offered to a British postgraduate student to pursue a one-year Master of Laws in International Law (LLM).
Applicants to the Master’s in International Law should also display a strong research background, demonstrable ambassadorial skills, an interest in extracurricular activities, and a desire to further the Fulbright programme.
In addition to applying to the Fulbright award applicants must also apply separately to this programme at Tufts University
The Fulbright-Tufts Master of International Law Award offers the following benefits:
- A fee-waiver scholarship of up to $20,000 for two scholars
- A number of memberships
- Visa sponsorship
- Substantial pre-departure support, including a Finalists Workshop (March) and a 2-day Orientation Programme (July)
- Once on-the-ground in the US, further support is offered by the Council for the International Exchange of Scholars (CIES)
- Membership of an extensive Fulbright Alumni network after grant completion
Applicants must be a UK citizen (resident anywhere) and hold or expect to obtain a minimum 2:1 honours undergraduate degree or the equivalent. Those who hold or who are eligible to hold US citizenship, or who are resident in the US at the time of application, may not apply for an Award from the US-UK Fulbright Commission.
