Opportunities have arisen for a Senior Lecturer academic post in the Department of Communication and Applied Behavioural Science (CABS), Royal Military Academy Sandhurst.

You will need to be able to show that you have experience and qualifications in any of the following fields:
- leadership studies,
- communication studies,
- conflict resolution,
- or social and behavioural sciences.
The specific purpose of this position is to ensure CABS delivers Higher Education quality research led teaching in human communication and applied behavioural science to officer cadets; developing their understanding and thinking skills, communication and influencing skills, decision-making and problem-solving techniques, and understanding the complicated context in which these skills will be applied.
A Senior Lecturer must bring to bear relevant post graduate level academic knowledge and expertise to create a stimulating and challenging teaching environment. You must be able to fit into military surroundings and be comfortable with the very many opportunities, and some constraints that this provides. You must be a self starter who can work well on your own initiative whilst also being an effective team member in a busy academic department.. A minimum of a Masters degree in a relevant subject is desirable. There are opportunities for the job holder to continue to research and publish when in post, and to obtain other relevant qualifications. Additionally, the job holder has a role in providing an applied academic resource to support RMAS, the Army and wider MOD.
