The LSE’s European Institute is an internationally-recognised centre of excellence for research and teaching on contemporary Europe. A core interest is political economy and the advertised post aims to strengthen our coverage of this from an international perspective.
We seek someone with expertise in an area relevant to the EU’s external relations (e.g. regional cooperation initiatives, relations with international organisations, participation in bilateral and multilateral negotiations). Preference may be given to candidates with research interests relating to the provision of international public goods and burden-sharing (climate change, refugee flows, trade disputes, financial regulation, etc).
