The appointment will be on UCL Grade 7. The salary range will be £37,936-£49,904 per annum, inclusive of London Allowance.
The Department of Mathematics of UCL invites applications from candidates for the post of Lecturer in Applied Mathematics. The successful candidates will be expected to conduct a vigorous, high-level research programme in applied mathematics, including publishing in leading journals, and active in seeking to obtain external income to support their research. They will contribute to the teaching of courses and supervision of projects at undergraduate and postgraduate level.
The successful candidate will have an established or developing track record of independent research excellence in applied mathematics of international standing. They are expected to have experience of teaching of mathematics at university level and excellent oral and written communication skills.
The post is available from 1 September 2017.
