Askham Bryan College is a large, and growing, specialist land-based College, with centres throughout Yorkshire, Cumbria and the Tees Valley.
We now have an opportunity available for a Princes Trust Coordinator to join us at our campus in York. This role is a fixed term contract until 31st July 2017 and is full time.
Within the role you will plan and supervise the learning experience of our students, ensuring compliance with awarding body and funding body criteria. You will also participate in training and development courses, research, secondment and personal contact in order to keep up to date in technical and education expertise as well as those skills necessary to effectively tutor and assess clients.
An active participant in the promotion of the College, the Centres, Courses and Services, you will support all managerial staff with maintaining the premises, estate and resources and support the Marketing staff at Careers events, shows and demonstrations. Taking an active role in teams designed to action and develop effective and efficient programme delivery and supporting the College Manager, you will carry out routine administrative responsibilities associated with lecturing (such as registration, attendance recording, examination and assessment schedules).
Educated to degree level or equivalent and with a teaching qualification (or willing to work towards), the successful candidate will have a proven record of managing and coordinating teams to deliver projects and courses and have solid experience of working with young people with multi-agency working and managing/assessing the FE provision at Foundation Level learning are essential qualities.
