Part time Assistant Registrar, Courtauld Connects (0.6FTE, 21 hours per week)

12-month fixed term (potentially renewable for a further four years if the Courtauld’s stage two HLF application is successful and if the post-holder meets expectations)

Salary: £25,752 per annum pro rata depending on knowledge and skills

The Courtauld Gallery is one of the world’s finest small museums with outstanding collections and an acclaimed programme of temporary exhibitions.  Based at Somerset House in central London, the Gallery is an integral part of the Courtauld Institute of Art, which is a leading educational institution with a worldwide reputation.

The Courtauld has received a generous grant from the Heritage Lottery Fund for Courtauld Connects, an ambitious programme of architectural redevelopment and national and international programmatic activity.  This post supports the work of the Gallery’s registrarial team during the Development Phase of the Courtauld Connects project.  We are seeking an effective administrator with good organisational, communication and IT skills, including, Collections Management Systems.  She or he should have some knowledge and experience of the administration and management of works of art, and have the ability to work efficiently and accurately to tight deadlines.
