The appointment will be on UCL Grade Professorial. The salary range will be Chair: Negotiable depending on qualifications and experience of the appointee. Reader/Senior Lecturer: Grade 9 scale £53,650 - 58,337, inclusive of London Allowance.
UCL wishes to appoint a Professor, Reader or Senior Lecturer in Corporate, Commercial or Financial Law. The successful candidate will be expected to engage in world leading research, and to provide academic leadership in the development of Corporate/Commercial/Finance Law. It is also expected that the post-holder will contribute to all aspects of the academic life of the Faculty and College.
The appointee will need to demonstrate a contribution to the advancement of Corporate/Commercial/Finance Law by research and scholarship (defined as commitment to, and practice in the acquisition and synthesis of knowledge and understanding) that is world-leading, and meets the highest standards of excellence in terms of originality, impact and rigour.
The appointee will also need to demonstrate a contribution to the advancement of Corporate/Commercial/Finance Law through teaching and by pedagogical innovation.
The Faculty is willing to consider applicants who may prefer to be appointed on a part-time basis.
