This 3-year post-doctoral position in the laboratory of Prof. Corinne Houart is funded by the BBSRC, and will investigate the role of splicing factors in axons and synapses during motor development and disorders, in interactions with the other research directions of the Houart research group
The Centre for Developmental Neurobiology is a world-leading centre in the field of developmental neuroscience, situated in central London. This project requires a multidisciplinary neuroscientific approach encompassing developmental neurobiology, electrophysiology and functional imaging. We are seeking a bright, talented and highly motivated post-doctoral researcher to join our team.
Candidates should have, or be about to obtain, a PhD in Biological sciences or a related discipline. Experience in neuro- or developmental biology is essential, and skills in imaging and/or RNA biology techniques are highly desirable.
This post will be be based on a full time, fixed term contract for three years.
Grade 6 position, starting salary £32,600 plus £2,623 London Allowance per annum.
