Graduate Recruitment Manager

Fixed-term: The funds for this post are available for 5 years in the first instance.

We are seeking an experienced, proactive administrator to help us transform graduate recruitment in the School of the Humanities and Social Sciences. In this role, you will work with a wide network of Graduate Directors and Graduate Administrators to support, promote and improve the ways in which graduate students are attracted to Cambridge, and supported in their applications.

The role will involve working closely with networks of individuals in the School's Faculties and Departments, the wider University including the Graduate Admissions Office, and with external partners. You will also be expected to have, or develop, a strong network of contacts in other UK and international Universities, and in relevant professional organisations.

Duties will include: using marketing information to assist Faculties and Departments in managing and increasing both quality and quantity of their graduate student recruitment; devising and implementing improved means of communication with potential applicants and other stakeholders; managing systems and processes to deliver the best possible experience for applicants and current students; and effective evaluation to ensure outcomes and steer further development.

You will be educated at least to first degree level or equivalent with an understanding of the higher education sector and the graduate student experience. Conversant with standard office software and data analysis systems, you will have excellent organisational, communication and time-management skills; will enjoy working proactively and independently on a long-term project; and will have a proven track record in working effectively with multiple stakeholders. Previous experience of graduate education would be highly desirable.
