We are seeking an enthusiastic Lecturer to contribute to The Open University’s BA (Hons) and MA in Childhood and Youth Studies. You will join a team which has developed an exciting approach to Childhood and Youth education based on our expertise in distance education.
You will contribute to the maintenance of our existing curriculum and to new curriculum developments. You will also have a willingness to engage in research and scholarship activity.
You must have a higher degree or equivalent professional knowledge in Childhood and Youth Studies or a related field and a good understanding of approaches to studying childhood and youth within the social sciences. You will have an understanding of supported open and distance learning; an ability to write clearly and cogently for a diverse student audience and have some experience of teaching in higher education.
