Applications are invited for the post of Postgraduate Student Recruitment Officer in the Directorate of Student Recruitment & Partnerships.
The Student Recruitment section is responsible for the recruitment and conversion of students within the UK and overseas and undergraduate and postgraduate taught level. This role sits within the Events Team but works closely with the International Recruitment and Digital Engagement teams to develop and deliver joined up and targeted plans of on- and off-campus activities aimed at prospective postgraduate students and applicants within the UK. The Postgraduate Student Recruitment Officer will have a strong understanding of the information needs and decision making factors of prospective postgraduate students and develop their plans to address these.
They will also support aspects of postgraduate student recruitment within the European Union and will play a role in wider postgraduate recruitment strategies at Royal Holloway.
The Postgraduate Student Recruitment Officer should be able to demonstrate excellent planning and organisational skills. They will be a confident public speaker and have the ability to inspire enthusiasm in a wide range of internal and external audiences. They should also have experience in planning and delivering engaging events aimed at raising the awareness of study options in a higher education environment. In addition to this, the post holder is required to possess detailed knowledge of the UK Higher Education system, including application processes.
This post is available from December 2016. This post is based in Egham, Surrey where the College is situated in a beautiful, leafy campus near to Windsor Great Park and within commuting distance from London.
