Finance Trainer (or trainee)

University of Cambridge - Finance Division

We are looking for an experienced and approachable trainer (or trainee - salary £25,023) who has an accounting background and expertise in using the University's Finance System (Oracle Financials). They will primarily train and give advice to staff who are either new to the University or new to a specific role, in how to use the finance system and contribute to the delivery of the University's AAT programmes. This will involve updating and modifying existing courses, delivering training across a wide variety of staff groups, testing new functionality, developing and writing materials to support using a range of media as well as supporting students online.  As a result you will work closely with different teams in both the Finance Division and across the University.

AAT Level 4 or equivalently qualified you will also hold a recognised training/teaching qualification or have substantial relevant experience across the full training cycle.  Experienced in working with large computerised packages, web technologies and virtual learning environments you will be an adaptable, well organised team player who possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
