You will be working in the group of Professor Rick Cosstick on a project involved with the synthesis of nucleoside analogues as inhibitors of sulfotransferases. The project aims to use molecular modelling techniques to identify potential inhibitors of sulfotransferases and investigate their synthesis and potential biological activity. You should have a PhD in synthetic organic chemistry or medicinal chemistry and an interest in medicinal/biological chemistry. Expertise in computational techniques is not essential. The post is available for 3 years.
