You will work on circulating histones to understand its involvement in tissue injury and organ failure. Areas of research in the laboratory focus on the field of critical care and how the host response maybe targeted diagnostically and therapeutically. The general work is underpinned by funding from the NHS and the British Heart Foundation. You should have a degree in Biological Sciences or Health Sciences discipline with excellent team working and communication skills. The post is available for 2 years.
