Supporting a wide range of strategic initiatives, the College Secretary is responsible for the effective running of governance across King’s.  Working closely with the Chairman of Council, the President, senior colleagues and members of Council, the College Secretary is a critical link between the non-executive and executive functions of the College.  Reporting to the Senior Vice-President (Operations), the College Secretary will build networks across King’s, contributing to strategic decision making and helping to drive innovation and transformation.

The successful candidate will have board level governance, advisory and/or legal services experience gained in an organisation of appropriate scale and complexity.  Candidates will be highly effective communicators, demonstrate excellent judgement and have the networking and organisational skills to manage and advise on a wide range of governance issues.  With high emotional intelligence and strong analytical abilities, you will be comfortable advising boards and stimulating and challenging thinking.
