University of Exeter Business School
The above full time permanent post is available from September 2017 in the University of Exeter Business School.
We are proud that is has taken only a decade to establish the Business School as one of the UK’s leading centres of business education and research, with a significant partnerships portfolio of more than 40 institutions globally. It is rapidly becoming one of the top business schools in the UK, ranked in the top 10 in the UK for all its main subject areas (The Times and Sunday Times Good University Guide 2015 and the Complete University Guide 2016) and is one of only 80 business schools worldwide to have both EQUIS and AMBA accreditations.
Research conducted at the Business School is internationally respected. We are home to internationally recognised centres of excellence, such as the ESRC / HMRC Tax Administration Research Centre. In the Research Excellence Framework (REF) 2014, 73% of the School’s research was rated as world-leading or internationally-excellent. We want to continue to develop our research in distinctive areas, with a strong commitment to excellence with impact on business and society, research which underpins our teaching and inspires our staff and students.
Of crucial importance to the achievements of the University of Exeter Business School is the continued success of its Department of Economics. With this in mind we are currently recruiting for a Professor in Economics (with research and teaching interests in Microeconomics/Macroeconomics). The successful candidate will join our excellent and well-supported community of internationally recognised academics that play a pivotal role in developing a vibrant research culture within the School. The successful candidate will have a PhD in Economics and will be a leading international authority.
