The School of Engineering seek to appoint a new Senior Electronics Technician to provide a wide variety of electronics related technical support and design for teaching and research. You will lead initiatives for new research equipment and teaching experiments and support students with labs and projects within the Electrical and Electronic Discipline. You will also play a key role in the design of new experiments for research and teaching and will provide advice to academic staff to help with teaching labs and research projects.
You will be educated at Grades A – C in GCSE Maths and English or equivalent with a degree in an Electronics related discipline, or other equivalent qualification (e.g. HND). Significant experience of working in an electronics role in a lab based environment is essential.
