About the role:
You’ll be joining the Department of Psychology and contributing to our excellent teaching and world-leading research (REF2014). We are one of six departments in the Faculty of Science and Technology, located on our Cambridge campus.
We are a forward-looking department with an enthusiastic approach and a vision that combines commitment to a strong and active research culture with excellence in learning and teaching. As part of the department you’ll contribute to teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels and undertake module assessment and administration duties. You’ll be expected to take a leadership role in supporting the vibrant research culture in the department.
We invite applications from candidates with expertise in any area of psychology which complements and supports our Departmental provision.
You’ll have a PhD in Psychology, previous successful teaching experience, a track record of successful income generation and a strong national or international research profile. We would be particularly interested if you can contribute to teaching and research in the areas of: Mental Health, Clinical Psychology, Psychological Well-being, and Research Methods (quantitative and/or qualitative). You’ll join us as soon as possible after January 2017.
