We are looking for a qualified Chartered Surveyor (MRICS minimum) to take on an exciting opportunity to assist the University in developing and advocating its property strategy and managing its current property investment portfolio. You will be managing a small professional in house team as well as a range of external consultant advisers so good interpersonal skills as well as management experience are required. You will be advising on the acquisition and disposal of real estate to help fund an ambitious programme of growth and global expansion and will therefore need to be commercially astute with a background in optimising property investment returns, therefore the ability to develop relationships with key external stakeholders is vital.
The position offers a competitive salary, commensurate with experience, as well as a range of benefits including a defined benefits pension scheme and generous leave allowance.
You will have:
- - A Proven track record in property management, including development and investment expertise
- - Well-developed negotiation and presentation skills
- - Commercial focus and be a passionate real estate professional with inclusive and clear management style
