Cardiff University School of Social Sciences is looking to recruit a Research Associate to work within the Children's Social Care Research and Development Centre (CASCADE) within the school. The successful candidate will work on a specific project titled ‘Keeping Safe?: An Analysis of the outcomes of sexually exploited young people in Wales’. You will carry out quantitative and qualitative research leading to the development of creative outputs and publishing of work in high-quality journals. You will also pursue excellence in research and to inspire others to do the same. The post holder will have the opportunity to develop their academic career through publications and occasional teaching opportunities in their area of specialism.
This post is fixed term for 22 months from the 1st December 2016 to 30th September 2018.
This is a full time post of 35 hours a week.
Salary: £31,656 - £37,768 per annum (Grade 6). An appointment will not be made over £31,656 per annum
