Associate Lecturer Modern German and Jewish history

The School of History wishes to advertise a six month, part-time Associate Lectureship in Modern German and Jewish History from 1 January 2017

The Associate Lecturer will be expected to teach on an existing under graduate module on German history since 1890 and on two existing MA modules on the history of anti-Semitism.

Candidates are expected to have experience in running modules independently. They will take part in the care of students, assessment and admissions‐related activities.

The Associate Lectureship is part time for 6 months and the start date is on 1 January 2017. The salary will be £39,745 per annum, pro-rata, inclusive of London Allowance.

Candidates must be able to demonstrate their eligibility to work in the UK in accordance with the Immigration, Asylum and Nationality Act 2006. Where required this may include entry clearance or continued leave to remain under the Points Based Immigration Scheme.
