Reporting to the Associate Director of Estate Development and Planning, you will personally manage a diverse caseload of high profile and high value projects emanating from the University’s 2020 vision. As part of the University’s £200m+ capital development programme, projects will include a mix of new build and refurbishment projects that will to provide ‘best in class’ teaching, research, residential, commercial and social space.  Projects will range in value from smaller scale schemes up to major developments in excess of £20m and as the Lead Project Manager you will manage them from feasibility and brief development through to completion.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of leading a range of projects in a comparable context.  Experience of working in collaboration with stakeholders to develop design, to procure design teams and consultants and to deliver projects within a live environment are essential for this role.  Proven delivery of full life cycle programmes and experience of coordinating a programme throughout a team is desirable. It is anticipated that you will hold an appropriate professional qualification.
