This exciting role will see you provide authoritative, academic leadership across the organisation, in relation to student engagement. Identifying, sharing and developing good practice through research informed scholarship, you will play a key role in supporting the new approaches to continuous improvement of the curriculum and in helping staff identify areas for improvement particularly in teaching practice, assessment and feedback. You will play a strategic role in leading the analysis and interpretation of relevant data. You will also be expected to provide authoritative leadership for the Student Voice Team, lead the Student Voice Working group and report to the Board, Senate and the Senior Management Team as required.
You’ll come to us preferably with a PhD (or equivalent experience and a Masters) as well as professional recognition at UKPSF2/3. You’ll have a track record of innovation in HE in relation to learning and teaching and the student experience. You will also have an established record of supporting the academic development of others and of engaging in pedagogic scholarship/research. You will have proficiency in the manipulation of large data files and creating pivot charts using Excel as well as experience of using Sharepoint. You will be a highly competent MS Office user.
