The University of Manchester enjoys a global reputation across a broad range of disciplines and the School of Chemical Engineering and Analytical Science is internationally regarded for its research and education.  As part of a major initiative to further strengthen our research base and to develop our portfolio in the area of the oil and gas sectors, we seek to appoint a Professor in Petroleum/Chemical Engineering with research interests which complement the ongoing activities in the School particular in the areas of multiscale modelling, upstream processes and core flooding experiments and imaging. You will have a demonstrable international track record in research with a global reputation who will provide leadership in developing our early career researchers and students.
