Careers Adviser

Northumbria University - Student and Library Services / Careers and Employment Service

Working in the Careers and Employment Service, you will be responsible for delivering and supporting an engaging and innovative range of professional careers guidance activities for students and graduates. You will work with academic faculties to enhance employability and contribute to the implementation of an ambitious University Employability plan, develop on-line resources and tools as well as offering 1:1 guidance and group work to a diverse range of undergraduate and postgraduate students and postgraduate researchers.

You will have expert knowledge of theory and practice of careers education and guidance and the labour market for students and graduates. A first degree or equivalent is essential, as is a post graduate diploma qualification in Careers Guidance or equivalent training or experience.
