In this busy and varied role, you will provide administrative and clerical support for the Student Recruitment Team, to enable it to meet it's student recruitment targets. Work will focus on supporting the delivery of high quality, customer facing events and initiatives such as open days, UCAS applicant visits, school visits and conventions.

As the ideal applicant you will be educated to GCSE level or equivalent and have relevant clerical experience in the educational sector. A general knowledge of the Higher Education and the UCAS admissions systems would be advantageous although this is not essential as training will be provided.

This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 because you will have substantial access to young people and/or vulnerable adults. An appointment to this post will be subject to checking through the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS). You will be required to give consent for the University to check with the DBS for the existence and content of any criminal record in the form of an Enhanced Disclosure. Information received from the DBS and the police will be kept in strict confidence and will be destroyed once the University is satisfied in this regard.
