You will be responsible for the production of food to the criteria determined by the Assistant Director - Operations or their nominee, thereby delivering a high quality catering service to University staff, students and visitors.
You will ensure compliance with all aspects of health, safety and hygiene standards and the adherence to the relevant legislation.
You will need to remain calm and efficient, even in times of extreme pressure and good customer service skills are essential. You must be flexible and willing to work in other outlets to ensure our high standards are maintained.
With a keen interest in food and a willingness to work as part of a small team supporting in all aspects of the catering offer.
You will have previous experience of cooking food to a good standard as well as an ability to provide in put to menu planning.
Kent Sport has grown significantly as a department in recent years both in terms of its staffing structure, but also the facilities and services available to its members. The department provides facilities and a diverse health, fitness & sporting programme to nearly 20,000 students, 3,000 staff and the community as a whole across our campuses. It is a sporting hub for the county.
The responsibilities of Kent Sport are many and varied from playing a vital strategic role within the University to building strong relationships with National Governing Bodies, County & local councils as well as local sports clubs and organisations.
