Assistant Principal - Curriculum and Enterprise

An award winning provider of further education, West Lothian College has the vision to be a “college which delivers a highly skilled and enterprising workforce of the future” and crucial to their continued growth will be the appointment of a new Assistant Principal.

With responsibility for both curriculum delivery and driving forward the College’s enterprise activities, you will also play a key strategic role in the leadership and development of the College ensuring successful outcomes for learners and the long term financial sustainability of the College.

Developing and maintaining key strategic and collaborative partnerships, you will lead and cultivate initiatives in response to external opportunities, whilst also delivering efficiencies through new enterprising approaches and innovative teaching and learning delivery methodologies across the College.

With a passion to deliver high quality and learner focused curriculum and an enthusiastic approach to securing new income through enterprise activities and partnerships, you will have excellent interpersonal and negotiating skills and the capacity to build effective working relationships both internally and externally. A strategic thinker, with strong commercial acumen, you will also have excellent analytical and decision making abilities and a personal desire to contribute to West Lothian College’s ongoing success.
