Faculty Support Administrator

Starting salary £18,212 - £20,400 per annum with progression opportunities to £22,249

Bournemouth University is offering exciting opportunities within three Faculties – Management; Science & Technology and Media & Communications. We are looking for highly motivated individuals to be responsible for supporting a variety of tasks for a number of departments within each Faculty. You will be a customer focused individual who is flexible and able to manage deadlines effectively. Key tasks will include meeting support, co-ordination of part time contracts, and a variety of HR related functions such as monitoring leave, appraisal documentation and interview support.

You will need to demonstrate significant administrative experience coupled with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organisational flair, combined with a proactive approach is essential as is the ability to work independently and as part of a diverse team. You will have an advanced understanding of Microsoft Office, databases and spreadsheets.
