Lecturer / Senior Lecturer in Accounting (1.0 FTE)

We are seeking a Lecturer / Senior Lecturer in Accounting to work with us on the continuing development of our research and teaching portfolios. We are looking for applicants with expertise to teach Accounting at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. We are particularly seeking applicants with experience / expertise in corporate finance, advanced financial accounting, taxation and audit practice.

The Business School has recently gained Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) accreditation for our undergraduate BSc Accounting programme. We are ideally seeking individuals with experience of working with ACCA, experience of teaching on accredited programmes and the ability to further develop our relationship with ACCA.

The teaching component of the role will involve teaching on campus and contributing to the quality assurance of partnership programmes. Key undergraduate modules include: Understanding Financial Statements, Taxation Practice, Audit Practice and Ethics, Advance Financial Accounting, Accounting for Decision Making, Corporate Finance. Key postgraduate modules include: International Financial Management, Finance and Performance Management.

The Roehampton Business School London has a growing reputation for its research-informed teaching. We are seeking applications from highly motivated candidates who will carry out high quality research and/or be actively engaged in professional practice, and develop and deliver undergraduate and postgraduate modules for the Business School’s expanding portfolio. Candidates with research-focused or professionally focused expertise would be welcomed.
