An exciting opportunity has arisen within in the School of Applied Health & Exercise Sciences to work within an established team of lecturers to deliver a newly developed Post Graduate Diploma Physician Associate programme that is due to commence in February 2017.
We are looking for an experienced Physician Associate who is on the managed voluntary register, to teach and inspire our postgraduate students, whilst demonstrating a commitment to maintain their own clinical practice. Experience of teaching within Higher Education is preferable, however not essential, as appropriate support will be provided, including access to a PGCE course.
This new post represents a significant opportunity for a talented, ambitious and experienced Physician Associate, who has the ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders, to make a significant contribution to educating the future allied to medicine workforce, and develop their own academic and teaching skills. You would also be expected to contribute to the research and enterprise of the Department and to maintain your professional development, through CPPD and doctoral study and your external professional networks and relationships.
