To lead the Computing Support Linux team and to develop, support, configure and deploy the Faculty’s Linux-based computing systems and services.
Reporting to the Faculty Computing Manager, the role holder will support the development of systems used for research, teaching and administration such as Linux-based workstations, Linux-based servers, and storage systems. The role holder will work with academic staff, students and IT as a member of the Faculty Computing Support team to manage and develop all aspects of IT infrastructure, providing services to academic users in the Faculty and beyond.
The selection process will include competency based questions, a presentation, an assessment and a panel interview.
