King's College London - Fundraising & Supporter Development

The salary will be paid at Grade 5, £27,629 to £32,004 per annum, plus £2,623 per annum London Allowance.

This post is a full time permanent role.

The post supports the Director of Strategy & Operations in all aspects of the role. This role is a key figure head within the department and indirectly manages and takes responsibility for the central Administrative Team. The role will ensure that the busy and growing Fundraising & Supporter Development team are able to operate efficiently and safely. The post-holder will oversee the core business processes, resolving issues and spotting opportunities for improvements, and will be required to build strong relationships with stakeholders, both within the college and externally. The post will be a budget holder and Health & Safety Officer for the department. The successful candidate must be able to juggle competing priorities, work to tight deadlines, communicate and negotiate projects on behalf of the Director, and have a strong attention to detail.

This role sits within the Strategy & Operations directorate which is comprised of Supporter Operations & Finance, Prospect Research, Supporter Engagement and Strategy & Planning teams.

Fundraising & Supporter Development provides fundraising support for King’s College London and King’s Health Partners, which comprises of King’s College Hospital, Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospital and South London and Maudsley.

The selection process will include competency based questions, an assessment and a panel interview.

Interviews are scheduled to be held the week commencing: 24& 31 October 2016.
