Outreach Administrator

University of Wolverhampton - Faculty of Science and Engineering

Faculty Administration provides an integrated and high-quality professional service to applicants, students and staff across the University. You will be based within the Faculty of Science and Engineering at the University of Wolverhampton which represents a commitment to on-going investment in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) subjects.

The region has an impressive history for design and innovation dating back to the late 19th century. Highly skilled men and women have made major contributions to the automotive, mining and construction industries based here. Today, companies such as Jaguar Land Rover, CAT Finning, Moog, UTC Aerospace Systems and HS Marston draw upon the skills and expertise of our graduates who continue to bring fresh ideas and new skills to their global organisations.

We are seeking to employ an individual who is able to demonstrate a proactive and professional approach, excellent interpersonal skills, good organisational capabilities, able to work independently under own initiative as well as a commitment to working collaboratively in a team.

You will provide administrative support to enhance the development of outreach contacts and activities for the Faculty to maximise collaborative relationships, student recruitment and income generation and will also provide an excellent level of customer service.

You will have demonstrable administration skills and experience, proficiency in the use of office technology including word processing, presentation software, databases, spreadsheets, email and the internet, and an excellent standard of literacy and numeracy. You will demonstrate a commitment to equality and diversity, a commitment to quality and an understanding of data protection and freedom of information legislation.
