The School of Art, Design and Fashion are looking to recruit a full time Lecturer/ Senior Lecturer. This is a dynamic and exciting role to teach on the BA (Hons) Product Design course. The course is well-established, accredited by the Institution of Engineering Designers (IED), has strong links with industry and has achieved an impressive 100% in the National Student Survey (NSS) for the past 3 years. You will have a strong understanding of product design with experience in using both traditional skills and digital skills and techniques, including a range of relevant 2D and 3D software programmes. You will be involved in delivering lecturers, seminars and studio teaching. In addition you will be expected to take part in the development and future delivery of undergraduate and postgraduate courses. You will demonstrate robust design industry connections and achievements in your own professional practice. Experience of delivering multidisciplinary projects and international collaborative projects is desirable.
The successful candidate is expected to demonstrate commitment to delivering excellent student experience, real-world learning and innovative teaching. You will have excellent people skills and experience of working well in a team.
