Working in the Department of Arts and Cultural Industries, comprising of Linguistics and Writing, this post will focus on teaching and supporting students on the English Language and Linguistics course.
The job purpose is to deliver teaching and learning to support the overall delivery of the module and course in order to achieve outstanding learning outcomes for our students. To engage in research and/or scholarly/professional activity to enhance and inform the teaching design, delivery and curriculum development.
This role includes contributions to teaching ‘The history of the English Language’, ‘Second Language Acquisition’ and contributes to the teaching of ‘Linguistic Relativity’. You will have module leader responsibilities, and additionally act as personal tutor for groups of students.
- Qualified to graduate / postgraduate / PhD level in a subject relevant to this role.
