Academic Services Team Leader

The Academic Registry requires an excellent team leader with experience of academic administration and the student journey to join the Academic Services team. The primary focus for the ASTL will be to work with the University’s Business School, as well as supporting academic services across the Park Campus.

Due to recent developments in Academic Services and the continuing evolution of the Business School this is an exciting time to join the University.

The Academic Services Team Leader will undertake a range of tasks in support of academic delivery and the development of operational systems at School level. They will oversee a well-established and skilled staff team whose remit includes course administration, procurement and other duties.  

The post holder will support the work of the Academic Services Manager by delivering excellent operational services at local level, provide support in implementing the Rethinking Enhancement project and customer service agendas and support the Academic Services Manager in developing the team’s skills and professional behaviours.

We are looking for someone who is flexible, positive, proactive and highly motivated. You will work with colleagues across Registry looking at ways of continuous improvement to ensure a high quality student experience. Therefore you will have a commitment to deliver a high quality service and to continuous improvement. 

The role involves supporting the effective operation of Assessment Boards and therefore it is essential that you have knowledge and understanding of academic assurance policies and procedures.
