Forming an integral part of the Faculty of Medicine’s Business Development, Collaboration and Innovation section within the Faculty Education Office, the Collaboration team is responsible for the delivery of the Faculty’s collaboration activities.
Following a collaboration between Imperial College London and Nanyang Technological University (NTU) in Singapore, a new medical school (The Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine) opened in August 2013 and offers a 5-year undergraduate medical degree programme.
You will have the primary responsibility of supporting the Collaboration Manager in the delivery of Imperial’s obligations towards the new School. The role works holistically across various streams of activity and will benefit from an innovative person who can manage a number of priorities across the project.
Tasks will include supporting and monitoring activities which enhance educational quality, contributing relevant information for inclusion in reports or committee papers, as well as more broadly supporting the delivery of project milestones.
This unique role will suit a motivated, proactive and meticulous individual, with previous administration experience, excellent oral and written communication and correspondence skills, and a working knowledge of Windows-based software including word processing and spreadsheets. Previous experience in higher education administration is desirable.
You will possess well-developed organisational skills, and strong interpersonal skills. The role will involve liaising and interacting with academic and administrative staff at all levels of seniority, across different departments and cross-culturally with colleagues overseas.
