Copyright and Compliance Officer

We are seeking a capable, self-motivated and enthusiastic individual for the role of Copyright and Compliance Officer based within the Information Management and Policy Services team. You will be responsible for ensuring the University meets its requirements in respect of copyright law by overseeing licence administration, maintaining copyright policy and providing support, training, and advice to staff and students. The successful candidate will have experience in a copyright and compliance role, and excellent analytical and evaluative skills. The role will involve advising others on a broad variety of exciting and innovative University activities, therefore excellent interpersonal and organisational skills are a must. The post holder will have the ability to work autonomously and be responsible for leading on copyright matters in an ever shifting digital environment.

You will have:

  • Experience in a copyright and compliance role
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • The ability to deal with complex matters and provide pragmatic and practical solutions
  • The ability to prioritise workloads and problem solve
