Employability Assistant (Part-time)

We are seeking a highly motivated, dynamic and enthusiastic individual with relevant administrative and IT experience to join our busy Careers and Employability team.

Reporting to the Information Officer, you will be the first point of contact for all Careers and Employability enquiries (by mail, telephone, email and face to face) providing advice, and information about our services

Excellent IT skills and confidence in the use of social media are essential to this role as you will be expected to use our CRM system and respond quickly to queries on a daily basis.

You will help to produce and develop a range of in house resources to assist students with their career searches, and will co-ordinate and disseminate a range of careers and employability information to all of our stakeholders

This is a very busy role, with a good mix of client facing and administrative duties, so good communication and team working skills along with excellent time management, strong organisational skills, and attention to detail, is vital.

The successful candidate will be able to use their own initiative and will deputise for the Information Officer in their absence.

Working flexibly and to tight deadlines alongside an ability to be self motivated are required.

This post is available part-time for 26 hours per week
