Head of International Partnerships

Liverpool John Moores University - International Relations

LJMU has a vacancy for an experienced, commercially minded and proactive Head of International Partnerships to develop, oversee and deliver the university’s international collaboration and partnership strategy. The role embedded within the International Relations team, will focus on four main areas of activity:

  • Growing the University’s portfolio of TNE, offshore and international revenue generating activity including summer schools and short term programmes.
  • Overseeing the university’s portfolio of international partners and ensuring it aligns with the university’s international and wider university strategy.
  • Developing a best practice approach to international partnership relationship management which can be applied to all international collaborative activity across the university.
  • Providing expert guidance on international collaborative partnership and TNE best practice and opportunities to the wider university and inspiring internal stakeholders to make the most of relevant international partnership and revenue generating opportunities.

The successful candidate is likely to offer a range of skills and knowledge including significant experience in collaborative and TNE partnership delivery, the ability to take a strategic view on global partnership activity, evidence of a customer oriented approach to relationship development and great people, intercultural and influencing skills.
